Cat Tree Condo with Perch

This cat tree is a great one to start with! We have a kitten so she’s a little unsure of it at the moment. It was super easy to put together, my husband and I built it and it took us about 45 mins! The parts make it really easy and can be done with the tools they give you in the box! I especially love that the cushions can be taken off to be washed and the wood parts can be wiped down! It looks nice and isn’t too much! This is great considering those of us that don’t have much space to work with! We tried to find a cat tree that was affordable, tall enough, easy to clean, and good quality. If you’re looking for the same, this is it!

The positives:- Overall this is a good tower/tree.- It’s super tall, around 6ft, has some great perches/shelves for cats to watch or sleep from.- It was easy to put together, seemingly well made and for the most part sturdy and my cat loved it.The negatives:After my cat had been using it for awhile I noticed the round cylinders would come loose and I would have to re-tighten them periodically. Not a big deal because it was fairly easy to do but kind of a hassle.The square box is is smaller than anticipated so my cat rarely used it because it’s size is more suited for kittens or really small cats. For reference my cat was a 12lb /10mos. male.The bigger issue is the size of the base plate. It’s way too small for how tall the tree is. It really should have a wider base plate for increased stability. Even with the earthquake strap connected to the wall it still wobbled. Since my cat was going to be climbing on it I didn’t trust the wobble so I put 30lbs of sandbags on the bottom to stabilize it and that worked great.After all of that I would probably buy it again. Aside from the base issue it’s a great tower.

So I got this (earlier than expected--at the holidays!, so thank you Amazon!) and put it together last night. When the first level was done, one of my 3 cats came in and started scratching away at the sisal legs. She loved it! I made an error in assembly, which resulted in the "house" top being attached with only 4 screws and not the the additional wood dowels. I discovered it after I'd finished assembling the whole thing, but I was not about to take it apart to fix it, and it doesn't appear that it will affect anything. I have wood dowels saved just in case, in the future I feel I do need them, but I don't think I will. I do not like cat trees that have the fake fur instead of real carpet, and this one does have 3 fake fur legs. I know that probably in a year, those legs will need to be recovered, but I can easily do that with some thick sisal rope. The tree comes with thin, fake fur pads that velcro in place, so they can easily be removed for washing. I finished the tree, and all three cats were up on it, exploring and playing. My cats, for reference are 9-11 pounds each, and some cat trees are more appropriate for kittens. This not is great for my crew. I'm pleased with it, and I'll report back in the future should that opinion change!

This was everything I was looking for in a cat tree. My old classic carpet style one was looking rough and was beyond overdue for a replacement. As a seasoned cat mom I know how gross those standard cat trees can get over the years. When I found this one I knew it was perfect. The wood is sturdy, and it makes for easy cleaning if someone throws up. Because its wood, and not carpet, cat fur doesnt stick to it in the same manner. Also the removable cushions? Yes please! I can literally throw them in the washing machine to clean them up. The cushions and bed are so soft, and they do have some padding to them to keep the kitties comfy. The directions were really easy to follow, making it really simple to put together too. 10/10 would buy again, and i will be searching for another larger wooden cat tree to replace their extra large carpet style tree in the near future!

I'd give 5 stars if they'd let me. I never buy these because they're all, in my opinion, an eye sore and just plain ugly. This one I purchased because I hadn't ever seen one in white and I really like it! It's well made. The only thing I would've preferred is the base to be a little broader due to its height. But it can be fastened to the wall ( built in strap) It is sturdy and stable enough for my kittens. More than worth what I paid..
